Trainees

One of the most important new concepts to be developed by the education committee over the next year is to investigate ways of engaging with trainees at the beginning of their training (rather than at the exam stage).  The committee would like to be able to support members from the start of their training, ensuring that they are fully aware of the requirements and standards of an AVS, and helping them with any challenges or issues they may be facing. We would welcome an ideas or suggestions on this topic.

Tom Cranfield thomas.cranfield@nhs.net has recently been appointed as trainee representative on the Education Committee and will be exploring ways of improving communication with SVT members who are working towards AVS.  More information will be available here during February / March 2011 but in the mean time please contact Tom to register your interest.
