There are two categories of membership Ordinary
Membership and Associate Membership.
Ordinary Membership: is open to those
whose primary responsibilities include non-invasive vascular investigations,
including those persons who are involved in a supervisory or an educational
role in a clinical setting. For example, all clinical vascular scientists,
vascular technologists, sonographers, research nurses, clinical scientists
etc. who directly provide non-invasive vascular investigation services.
Ordinary Members are entitled to vote and, if accredited, eligible
to serve on any SVT committee or sub-committee.
Associate Membership: is
open to those interested in the field of vascular technology but who
do not directly participate in non-invasive vascular investigations.
For example, surgeons, radiologists, company representatives, etc.
Associate Members may not vote or hold office but otherwise enjoy the
same rights and privileges as Ordinary Members

Fees for new or lapsed members are £40
(64€) for the first year, then £25 (40€) per annum
thereafter. Renewals
are due at the beginning of September each year.
