About CASE:  http://www.case-uk.org/

CASE is an organisation that exists to accredit sonographic courses delivered within the UK, and works closely with universities and other higher-education institutions to ensure the highest standards are met.  CASE is a not-for-profit organisation which relies on volunteers to commit their time to ensure the students who graduate from our accredited courses do so with the best in education, mentor support and clinical competency and thus preparing the sonographic workforce of the future. In addition to offering accreditation of new, and re-accreditation of established ultrasound education programmes, CASE undertakes annual monitoring of the courses it has accredited.

CASE consortium:

CASE consortium consists of a group of member organisations: British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS), British Society of Echocardiography (BSE), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Royal College of Podiatry (RCOP), Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM), Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR), and Society for Vascular Technology of Great Britain and Ireland (SVT). Each member organisation is unique and has its own obligations to its membership and its own agenda while CASE brings them together to provide a forum for the interchange of ideas in which shared views may be synthesised, and thus inform education and training programmes.
