Applications are invited to join a leading vascular ultrasound unit based in these two world famous London teaching hospitals (Royal London Hospital and St Bartholomew’s Hospital). The temporary post, EITHER FULL TIME OR PART TIME for 12 months will suit Society for Vascular Technology accredited vascular scientists who are keen to expand their horizons and encompass the delivery of diagnostic excellence to the principal clinical stakeholders, undertake vascular research and teaching. Those approaching accreditation would be considered on a lower pay band.
Currently we have six accredited vascular scientists, one trainee vascular scientist and an administrator. The unit performs a wide range of vascular and microvascular diagnostic methods and is fully equipped with GE Logiq E10s and brand new Philips Epiq and Samsung RS85 machines. We work closely with six consultant vascular surgeons, two vascular nurse specialists and other medical specialists.
